Dr. Quine leads Thoth’s technical team. He has more than 25 years of experience in the space industry and related sectors. His specialist capabilities include spacecraft-systems development and the certification and test of space equipment. He is principal investigator for the Northern Light mission to Mars and the Argus pollution monitor. He is a registered professional Engineer of Ontario.
Dr. Quine previously worked for the European spacecraft manufacturer EADS Astrium Ltd. (now Airbus) and is experienced with all phases of spacecraft design and manufacture. During his doctoral research at the University of Oxford, he developed and patented an autonomous star tracker for attitude determination and spacecraft navigation, launched on the European spacecraft, PROBA.
